As of January 1, 2023, according to the results of bird registration, it was revealed that the total number of pheasants in the republic in organizations implementing measures for the protection of wild animals and their breeding amounted to 266.3 thousand.
Among the regions, the largest share in the total number of pheasants falls on the Republic of Karakalpakstan (50.7%).
A high proportion was also recorded in Tashkent (20%), Syrdarya (8.6%) and Kashkadarya (7.8%) regions.
