On December 26, 2023, a regular meeting of the Dissertation Council for the award of academic degrees in economic sciences was held under the number DSc.29/30.12.2019.I.92.01 at the Institute for Advanced Studies and Statistical Research under the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It featured the defense of the dissertation work of the Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Information Exchange of the Agency of Statistics, an independent researcher at the Tashkent State University of Economics, Mamadaliev Odiljon Toirovich, on the topic “Statistical study of the processes of socio-economic development of regions (on the example of the Namangan region)” in the specialty 08.00.06–“ Econometrics and Statistics".
The defense of this dissertation was supervised by the heads of sectoral departments of the central office. Based on the results of the defense, it was decided to award the dissertation candidate the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in economic sciences, and the Council’s decision was proposed for approval by the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission
