On December 26, 2023, a regular meeting of the Dissertation Council for the award of academic degrees in economic sciences was held under the number DSc.29/30.12.2019.I.92.01 at the Institute for Advanced Studies and Statistical Research under the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It featured the defense of the dissertation work of the Deputy Head of the Department of Organization and Conduct of Census Processes of the Agency of Statistics, an independent researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies of Personnel and Statistical Research, Sherzod Ergashevich Dusnaev on the topic “Economic and statistical assessment of demographic development in the Republic of Uzbekistan” in the specialty 08.00.06 – “Econometrics” and statistics."
The defense of this dissertation was supervised by the heads of sectoral departments of the central office. Based on the results of the defense, it was decided to award the dissertation candidate the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in economic sciences, and the Council’s decision was proposed for approval by the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission.
