According to a sample survey by the Statistics Agency, as of January-November 2023 in the Jizzakh region, 79.6 % of households have children under 16 years of age.
Of them:
households with one child – 20.2 %;
households with two children – 29.1 %;
households with three children – 18.5 %;
households with four or more children – 11.8 %.
According to the survey, 20.4% of households do not have children under the age of 16.
