As of January 1, 2024, the total permanent population in the Republic of Karakalpakstan amounted to 2,002.7 thousand people.
This figure increased by 1.3 % compared to the corresponding period in 2023.
Of these: women – 996.8 thousand people;
men – 1,005.9 thousand people.
