As of January 1, 2024, the total permanent population in the city of Tashkent was 3,040.8 thousand people.
This figure increased by 2.9 % compared to the corresponding period in 2023.
Of these: women – 1,548.7 thousand people;
men – 1,492.1 thousand people.
