On February 7-9, 2024, an international conference on Educational Statistics was organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Affairs organization (UNESCO) in Paris, France
This event was attended by representatives of education and national statistics offices of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) member countries and experts.
It was attended by the head of the department of statistical observations in the field of education, health, science and innovation of the Social Sphere and Sustainable Development Statistics Department of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan B. Allamuradov.
The participants exchanged views on issues related to the analysis of progress made on the 4th goal of the Sustainable Development Goals.
During the event, information was also provided on the impact of technological developments on education statistics, improvement of the existing methodology necessary for the formation of education statistics, as well as information on available data sources and recommended methods.
