According to a sample survey by the Statistics Agency, as of January-December 2023 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 75.9 % of households have children under 16 years of age.
Of them:
households with one child – 23.5 %;
households with two children – 28.4 %;
households with three children – 17.4 %;
households with four or more children – 6.6 %.
According to the survey, 24.1% of households do not have children under the age of 16.
