According to a sample survey by the Statistics Agency, as of January-December 2023, 79.5% of households in the Jizzakh region have children under 16 years of age.
Of these:
households with one child – 20.8 %;
households with two children – 29.1 %;
households with three children – 18 %;
households with four or more children – 11.6%.
According to the survey, 20.5% of households do not have children under the age of 16.
