According to a sample survey by the Statistics Agency, as of January-December 2023, 77.0 % of households in Kashkadarya region have children under 16 years of age.
Of these:
households with one child – 19.5 %;
households with two children – 26.7 %;
households with three children – 19 %;
households with four or more children – 11.8%.
According to the survey, 23.0 % of households do not have children under the age of 16.
