On February 19 of this year, a webinar was organized at the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for employees of the “Statistics of Foreign Economic Activity and Trade” departments of the Department of Statistics of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent on the state of work being carried out on statistics of foreign economic activity and trade and the procedure for their formation and further priorities tasks.
Also at the webinar, employees were explained in detail the procedure and methodology for generating statistics on foreign and domestic trade, in particular wholesale and retail trade turnover and inventory. The calculation of these indicators by region and the announcement procedure were shown with examples and answers to questions of interest were given.
At the end of the webinar, employees of the department of statistics of foreign economic activity and trade were asked test questions on the questions of the webinar and their level of knowledge of the topic was assessed.
