On February 19, 2024, an online meeting was held between representatives of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and representatives of the Office for National Statistics in Great Britain to exchange experience in the Introduction of International Quality Management Systems in the Field of Statistics and Maintenance and systematic maintenance of statistical registers, outcomes and future prospects.
During the meeting, the Heads of the Departments of International Cooperation and Data Exchange, the Department of Organization and Methodology of Statistical Work and the Department of Maintenance and System Service of Statistical Registers of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan demonstrated Uzbekistan‘s practice of implementing international quality management systems and maintaining, system maintenance of statistical registers to colleagues from the National Statistical Service of Great Britain.
In turn, representatives of the Statistics Agency familiarized with the British experience of conducting the Statistical Register of UK Enterprises.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue on issues of interest to representatives of both sides and to continue to expand bilateral cooperation.
