According to a sample survey by the Statistics Agency, as of January-December 2023 in the city of Tashkent, 62.3 % of households have children under 16 years of age.
Of them:
households with one child – 21 %;
households with two children – 22.9 %;
households with three children – 12.8 %;
households with four or more children – 5.6 %.
According to the survey, 37.7 % of households do not have children under the age of 16.
