In January-December 2023, 8,487.5 million eggs were produced in the republic, this figure increased by 4.4 % compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
The largest volume of egg production was recorded in dehkan and subsidiary farms - 4,912.8 million pieces, or 57.9 % of the total volume of their production; on the contrary, low volumes were observed in farms - 1,329.8 million pieces (15.7 %) .
