On March 5 of this year, the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a master class at the Tashkent State University of Economics.
At the event, Deputy Head of the Department of Organization and Conduct of Census Processes of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dusnaev Sherzod Ergashevich made a presentation on "Innovation in the field of demography and population census" for the teaching staff of the Department of Statistics and Econometrics and students of the Faculty of Finance.
The presentation provided information about the latest changes in the methodological position on the formation of demographic indicators and the processes of preparation for the population census in our country.
At the end of the event, a specialist from the Statistics Agency answered in detail all the questions asked by the participants of the event and an agreement was reached on the regular holding of such events, as well as the organization of practical classes for students.
