On March 11 of this year, the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a presentation of the results of an expert meeting on children’s statistics, including the annual TransMonEE session, organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF in Geneva (Switzerland) on March 3 - 6, 2024.
Head of the Department of Statistics of the Social Sphere and Sustainable Development Kirgizov Dilshodbek Erkinbaevich and Deputy Head of the Department for the Formation of Summary Analytical Information on Statistics of Sustainable Development and Social Sphere Sectors Olga Vladimirovna Aleshunina, who took part in the expert meeting on children’s statistics, including the annual TransMonEE session, made a presentation.
The presentation featured innovative approaches to collecting data on children and a framework of indicators for measuring progress for children, discussed at the Expert Meeting on Children's Statistics and the TransMonEE session.
During the presentation, an exchange of views on this topic took place, and the participants received detailed answers to all their questions.
