On March 12 of this year, the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a webinar for employees of the departments of organizing and conducting census processes of the Statistics Department of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent on the topic of the legal basis of the population census in our republic.
At this webinar, the essence of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to organize the activities of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan” dated March 4, 2024 PP-114, the UN recommendations on the population and housing census, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Population Census”, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers on population census issues were explained in detail.
At the end of the webinar, employees were asked test questions on the legal basis of the population census and their level of proficiency in the subject was assessed.
