According to preliminary data, as of January 1, 2024, the number of birds in all categories of farms in the republic reached 103 million birds and increased by 5.8 % compared to the corresponding period in 2023.
Analyzes by category of farms show that 48.5 % of the total number of birds falls on dehkan and subsidiary farms, 33.6 % - on organizations engaged in agricultural activities, 17.9 % - on farms.
