According to preliminary data, in January-December 2023, 198.9 thousand tons of fish were caught in the republic, or compared to 2022, this figure was 107.3 %.
A significant share of the total volume of fish caught belongs to the Khorezm region (15.6 %).
At the same time, high rates of fish caught were noted in Tashkent (13.6 %), Andijan (10.9 %) and Samarkand (9.0 %) regions.
