As of January 1, 2024, in all categories of farms in the republic, the total number of cattle was 14,142.4 thousand heads (102.1 % compared to January 1, 2023).
Of these, cows - 5,046.3 thousand heads (101.8 %), sheep and goats - 24,118.3 thousand heads (102.2 %), horses - 275.9 thousand heads (102.6 %) and birds - 103,046.5 thousand heads (105.8 %).
