At the end of 2023, gross value added created in construction amounted to 62.6 trillion soums and, compared to 2022, increased in real terms by 6.4 %.
The positive contribution of construction to GDP growth was 0.4 percentage points.
The share of construction in GDP reached 6.2 %.
The largest shares of construction in the sectoral structure of the gross regional product belong to the city of Tashkent (9.1 %) and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (8.1 %).
