On May 1 of this year, teachers and students of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek got acquainted with the work processes of the central apparatus of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Deputy Head of the Department of Management and Development of Human Resources of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Farhod Turaev and Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies of Personnel and Statistical Research Bakhodir Gaibnazarov gave students a detailed understanding of the work carried out in the statistics system.
In particular, they received theoretical skills by familiarizing themselves with the work processes of the Price Statistics department, the International Cooperation and Information Exchange department, the Investment and Construction Statistics department, the Organization and Conduct of Census Processes department, the Department for Working with Appeals from Individuals and Legal Entities and the Control of Performance Discipline.
The students were also introduced to the “Museum of Statistics” created at the Agency.
After this, the Agency’s specialists answered in detail the questions of teachers, students and researchers of the university.
It was decided that such meetings would be held regularly in the future.
