On May 15 of this year, the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a webinar for employees of the departments of organizing and conducting census processes of the Statistics Department of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent on the topic “Procedure for conducting a population census”.
At this webinar, the priority tasks on population census issues established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to organize the activities of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan” dated March 4, 2024 PP-114, stages of preparation for the census, its conduct and announcement of results were explained in detail.
After completing the webinar, employees of the Departments of organizing and conducting census processes were asked test questions on the topic of the webinar and their level of proficiency in the topic was assessed.
