During January-March 2024, 1,263 thousand citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan traveled to foreign countries for tourism purposes.
Compared to the corresponding period last year, their number increased by 365.6 thousand people or by 40.7 %.
The number of citizens of Uzbekistan who traveled to foreign countries for tourism purposes in January-March of the current year by purpose of travel:
visiting relatives – 1,039.2 thousand people;
rest and leisure – 206.4 thousand people;
study – 8.1 thousand people;
treatment – 6.7 thousand people;
official – 2.6 thousand people.
