In January–June 2024, all categories of farms grew 3,400.8 thousand tons of vegetables.
This indicator increased by 3.1 % compared to the corresponding period in 2023.
A significant share of the total volume of vegetables belongs to Surkhandarya region (17.7 %).
Also, high rates of vegetable cultivation were noted in Andijan (17.5 %), Ferghana (13.1 %) and Tashkent (10.4 %) regions.
