On October 11 of this year, the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized an online webinar for the staff of the Departments of the Department for Organizing and Conducting Census Processes of the Statistics Departments of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, and the Tashkent city on the topic “Results of the Population and Agricultural Census and Their Publication”.
During this webinar, the priority tasks outlined in Presidential Decree № PQ-114, dated March 4, 2024, “On measures to organize the activities of the Statistical Agency under the president of the Republic of Uzbekistann”, were explained in detail, particularly concerning population and agricultural censuses, as well as the procedures for summarizing and publishing population and agricultural census results.
After the webinar, the employees of the Department for Organizing and Conducting Census Processes were given test questions, and their level of knowledge on the topic was assessed.
