On October 9-10, 2024, a meeting was held for the staff of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Warsaw, Poland, for the purpose of sharing experience.
During the meetings, presentations were made and discussions were held on the following topics:
- “Statistics Poland in a glimpse”;
- “Data stewardship – concepts in the international statistical community and examples”;
- “Statistics methodologies in use – Implementation of international standards in methodology of the Polish labour force survey”;
- “Short-term statistics – national and European perspective, data sources used”;
- “Experience of Statistics Poland in data opening and cooperation with the Polish Open Data Portal”;
- “Innovation activities in Statistics Poland. Creating a culture of innovation in Polish official statistics”.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to mutual cooperation and exchange of experience in order to develop the fields of statistics and open data.
