On November 13 of this year, the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a webinar for employees of the departments of Management and human resource development of statistical offices, as well as for legal advisers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, in order to ensure the fulfillment of tasks established by Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 114 dated March 4, 2024, as well as popularization of labor legislation and discussing priorities for the future.
The event was attended by Turaev Farkhod Samadovich, Deputy Head of the Department for Management and Development of Human Resources of the Statistics Agency, Vakhob Oripovich Tukhtaev, Head of the Legal Department of the Agency, employees of the departments for management and development of human resources of territorial statistical offices and legal advisers.
During the webinar, the participants were explained the issues of compliance with labor legislation in the activities of territorial statistical bodies, as well as the content of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-114 dated March 4, 2024 "On measures to improve the activities of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan", including an explanation of the currently developed normative legal acts.
In addition, within the framework of the "Month of Legal Literacy", the provisions and objectives of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan were explained to employees No. ZRU-939 dated August 7, 2024 "On Electric Power Industry", as well as the Law No. ZRU -940 dated August 7, 2024 "On energy conservation, rational use of energy and energy efficiency improvement". The participants were presented with an overview of the issues of saving energy resources and electric energy.
At the end of the webinar, the head of the legal department of the agency, Tukhtaev Vakhob Oripovich, answered the questions of the participants and gave explanations on labor legislation and problems arising in the course of activity.
