On November 15 of this year, the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized an online webinar for the staff of the Department for Organizing and Conducting Census Processes of the Statistics Departments of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, and the Tashkent city on the topic “The importance of the population and agricultural census in the socio-economic development of the country”.
During this webinar, discussed the state of propaganda work carried out by regional statistical bodies, the state of installation of signs with street names and house numbers in mahallas. The webinar also explains in detail the history and content of the population census and agricultural census, as well as answers to questions.
After the webinar, the employees of the Department for Organizing and Conducting Census Processes were given test questions, and their level of knowledge on the topic was assessed.
