On October 11 of this year, the Statistics Agency presented the statistical compilation "Women and Men of Uzbekistan: Facts and Figures."

This compilation provides important information about the participation of women and men in various spheres of socio-economic life and equality issues in the country. The main purpose of the compilation is to provide specific indicators and analyze the state of gender equality.

In particular, the compilation contains extensive information on gender statistics, including the status of women and men in areas such as demography, education, healthcare, social protection, labor, tourism, crime, culture, and sports.
The compilation also presents an analysis of the set of minimum gender indicators and other data approved by the resolution "On measures to further strengthen the guarantees of women's labor rights and support entrepreneurial activity."
This set of minimum gender indicators consists of 54 gender statistics indicators in 5 areas (Economic structures, participation in production activities and access to resources; Education; Healthcare and related services; Decision-making in public life; Rights of women and girls, human rights).

It should be noted that to date, all sections of the official website of the Statistics Agency gender.stat.uz contain and regularly update more than 190 gender statistical indicators in 3 languages, in 5 different formats.
To improve the qualifications and exchange experience of employees in the system of ministries and departments that produce gender statistics indicators, seminars are organized in collaboration with representatives of international organizations and other countries.
In turn, to provide users with information on gender statistics, press releases, statistical compilations and newsletters, articles, short news items (topics), and videos are published on the official websites of the Statistics Agency (gender.stat.uz, stat.uz, siat.stat.uz, nsdg.stat.uz, aholi.stat.uz) and other social networks, as well as in the media.

Uzbekistan's gender statistics include data on women's and men's participation in society in the social, economic, educational, and medical spheres. The Strategy for Achieving Gender Equality until 2030, adopted by the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, sets goals for improving women's opportunities in the labor market, expanding access to education, and improving health through gender statistics.
