The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) organized an international seminar on "Transition to Process-Based Statistics Organization" for national statistical offices of Eastern European and Central Asian countries from November 19-21, 2024, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.
Presentations were made on the experiences of statistical offices from Iceland, Serbia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and other European and Central Asian countries regarding the organization of process-based statistics.
Additionally, Bekzod Yuldashev, Head of the Department for Generating Consolidated Analytical Data on Industrial Statistics at the Statistics Agency, and Rustam Ruzayev, Chief Specialist of the Department for Statistical Methodology Management and Innovation of the Statistical Work Organization and Methodology Division, gave a presentation on the extensive work carried out by the Statistics Agency in implementing GSIM, GSPBM, and GAMSO models in the field.
At the conclusion of the event, the seminar organizers and international experts provided necessary recommendations based on the results of discussions on the agenda items.
