On January 4 of this year, a master class was organized for professors and teachers of the "Economic Statistics" department at Tashkent State University of Economics on the topic "Results of Statistical Assessment of the Informal and Shadow Economy."
Abrorali Mamadjanov, Head of the Department of Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, delivered a lecture at the master class.
A. Mamadjanov elaborated on the work carried out by the Statistics Agency to improve the assessment of the informal economy and evaluate the shadow economy.
The presentation provided information on collaborations with international organizations regarding the statistical assessment of the informal and shadow economy, as well as details about specially organized sample statistical observations and their results.
Additionally, at the conclusion of the event, the speaker thoroughly addressed all questions posed by the participants.
