On January 14 of this year, the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized an online webinar for employees of the Departments for organizing and conducting census processes of the Department of Statistics of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent.
The webinar discussed the state of propaganda work carried out by regional statistical bodies, the problems of installing signs with street names and house numbers in mahallas.
Also at the webinar, regional statistical offices were introduced to the organizational work that needs to be carried out in 2025 to prepare for the population census.
Based on the results of the webinar, employees of the Department of Organization and Conduct of Census Processes gave instructions on how to eliminate deficiencies identified during the study of the state of installation of signs with street names and house number signs in mahallas.
