On February 21-23 of this year, the traditional winter sports festival "Chimgan challenge 2024" was held in the village of Chimyan, Bostonliq district, Tashkent region, on the initiative of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At this festival, mini-football, volleyball, streetball, and table tennis competitions were held among 120 sports propagandists from ministries, agencies, and organizations.
This festival was organized in order to ensure the implementation of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for the development of winter sports", the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers "On additional measures to support a healthy lifestyle and increase physical activity of the population" and was organized in order to widely promote physical training and regular sports activities among the sports propagandists of state bodies and organizations. As part of the festival, special training seminars were organized for the participants.
On the first day of the festival, a training seminar was organized for the participants of the event, where the advisor to the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sharifjon Mominjanov, spoke about the essence and significance of the initiatives put forward by the head of our state to popularize sports among the population.
At this festival, the team with the participation of sports propagandist of the Statistics Agency Bobur Djalilov took an honorable 3rd place in the sports competition in mini-football.
At the end of the competition, the organizers presented diplomas and memorable gifts to the winners and prize-winners.
