According to the National Statistics Committee, 678,700 foreign citizens entered the Republic of Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January 2025.
Compared to the corresponding period last year, their number increased by 158,500 people or by 30.5%.
The number of foreign citizens who entered the Republic of Uzbekistan in January of this year is categorized according to the purposes of their travel as follows:
visiting relatives – 461,277 people
official – 88,336 people
travel – 75,392 people
commercial – 41,196 people
treatment – 8,966 people
study – 3,508 people
