The Institute for Advanced Training of Personnel and Statistical Research under the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics announces admission to basic doctoral studies and doctoral studies for 2021 and to independent applications for the following specialties:

Basic doctoral studies (for training separately from production):
08.00.06 - "Econometrics and Statistics"
(9 places for basic doctoral PhD);
08.00.14 - "information systems and technologies in the economy"
(4 places for basic doctoral PhD).
For doctoral studies (for training separately from production):

Entrance examinations for basic doctoral studies and interviews for doctoral students and independent applicants will be held from November 1 to 30, 2020.
Applicants to basic doctoral studies take exams in the following subjects:
✓ foreign language (foreign language studied at previous levels of education);
✓ specialty.
Candidates entering the basic doctorate must meet the following requirements:
✓ a copy of a higher education diploma (for a specialization program), a copy of a higher education diploma (for a specialization program), a copy of a higher education diploma;
✓ a list of published scientific papers, as well as reports included in a collection of scientific papers not related to any of the published scientific journals, including in two main areas for obtaining a PhD degree, as well as results that may constitute scientific research dissertations, may contain brief information);
✓ knowledge of a foreign language in the appropriate degree of a graduate of the master's program;
✓ access to modern information and communication technologies, including the Internet.
Candidates applying for doctoral studies must meet the following requirements:
✓ information about the applicant for the scientific degree of candidate of science or the diploma of doctor of philosophy (PhD) or an equivalent scientific degree in foreign countries;
✓ prepared draft plan for doctoral dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences (DSc) and a detailed project of research work on the topic;
✓ a list of published scientific works, as well as a candidate of science or doctor of philosophy (PhD) who have received the scientific degree of candidate of science (PhD) or equivalent other scientific degrees, as well as important scientific achievements after their publication, including their doctoral dissertation (DSc) may to form the basis of dissertation research in three scientific journals with at least two theses in collections of scientific works in scientific areas of scientific conferences, seminars and relevant scientific works).
Candidates entering independent research must meet the following requirements:
✓ a copy of a master's or higher education diploma (according to the specialist's program);
✓ a copy of the work book, certified in accordance with the established procedure;
✓ list of scientific papers and their copies;
✓ in order to obtain the degree of Doctor of Science (DSc) for registration as an independent applicant for the degree of Candidate of Science or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or other equivalent scientific degrees in foreign countries;
✓ certificate from the place of work.
