According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, as of April 1, 2025, the total number of horses across all categories of farms in the republic reached 278.3 thousand heads.
This figure increased by 2.2% compared to the corresponding period in 2024.
The number of horses in the regions is as follows:
Tashkent region – 55.2 thousand heads.
Kashkadarya region – 37 thousand heads
Jizzakh region – 32.5 thousand heads
Samarkand region – 29.3 thousand heads
Rep. Karakalpakstan – 27.9 thousand heads.
Navoi region – 22.7 thousand heads
Syrdarya region – 17.2 thousand heads.
Surkhandarya region – 16.9 thousand heads.
Fergana region – 11 thousand heads
Bukhara region – 7.9 thousand heads.
Andijan region – 7.6 thousand heads
Namangan region – 7.3 thousand heads
Khorezm region – 5.8 thousand heads
