According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-March 2025, a total of 1.5 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes.
This figure increased by 256,5 thousand people or 20.3% compared to the corresponding period last year.
The purposes of travel for Uzbekistan citizens who went abroad in January-March of this year are as follows:
visiting relatives - 1,189,827 people
tourism - 307,199 people
medical treatment - 11,764 people
study - 7,437 people
business - 3,320 people
