On May 13 of this year, a meeting was organized at the National Statistics Committee with representatives of the World Bank's regional office for Central Asia.
The event was attended by responsible staff members of the central apparatus, led by the Chairman of the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as Indu John Abraham, the World Bank's Operations Manager for the Central Asian region, Anastasia Alexandrova, Program Coordinator in Uzbekistan, and Gulnora Kamilova, Head of Operations in the country.
During the meeting, issues within the framework of the project "Strengthening the Capacity of the Statistical System in Uzbekistan," involving staff in international events and seminars, and other cooperation matters were discussed.
