On May 29 this year, the National Statistics Committee held a regular meeting with representatives of the World Bank.
The event was attended by senior staff of the central office, headed by Chairman of the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on as well as World Bank Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia Asad Alam, Head of the Global Economic Policy Practice Antonio Nusifora, program Coordinator in Uzbekistan Anastasia Alexandrova, Manager of the economic well-being Program David Knight, Senior Economist at the global practice on macroeconomics, trade and investment, Pinar Yashar.
During the meeting, the work carried out and planned in the future within the framework of the project "Strengthening the capacity of the statistical system of Uzbekistan", as well as other issues of cooperation were discussed.
