According to the National Statistics Committee, 36,520 units enterprises and organizations (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) were established in the republic during January-May 2025.
This figure increased by 766 compared to the corresponding period last year.
Moreover, when analyzing their distribution by type of economic activity, the trade sector occupied the leading position:
in trade – 12,570 units
in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries – 4,582 units
in the industrial sector – 4,271 units
in accommodation and food services – 3,036 units
in the construction sector – 1,937 units
in information and communications – 1,223 units
in transportation and storage – 1,059 units
in healthcare and social services – 2,174 units
in other sectors – 5,668 units
