According to the National Statistics Committee, as of July 1, 2025, 38,234 units family businesses are operating in the republic.
Their number has increased by 1,969 units since the beginning of the year.
When analyzed by sector, the largest share belongs to the trade sector at 39.9%.
They are distributed across sectors as follows:
in the trade sector - 15,264 units;
in the industrial sector - 8,703 units;
in the accommodation and food services sector - 7,303 units;
in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector - 2,649 units;
in the healthcare and social services sector – 646 units;
in the transportation and storage sector – 354 units;
in the construction sector – 299 units;
in the information and communications sector – 245 units;
in other sectors - 2,771 units.
