According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-June 2025, 40,265 units small business entities were established in the republic (excluding farms and dehkan farms).
An analysis by type of economic activity shows that the trade sector occupies a leading place among these enterprises:
in trade – 14,934 units
in agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 5,315 units
in industry – 5,189 units
in the field of accommodation and food services – 3,574 units
in construction – 2,265 units
in the field of information and communications – 1,466 units
in transportation and storage – 1,271 units
in the field of healthcare and social services – 785 units
in other areas – 5,466 units
