In the Republic of Uzbekistan, in January-September 2020, 4806 operating enterprises for the production of textile products produced goods worth 23.8 trillion. sum. The physical volume index compared to January-September 2019 amounted to 111.8%.
The largest share in the total volume of products produced by the textile enterprises of the republic fell on the share of Fergana region – 14.8% (712 operating textile enterprises), Tashkent region – 10.6% (788), Samarkand region - 9.6% (359) and the city Tashkent – 8.8% (388).
According to the information, in January-September of this year, the export of textile products amounted to 1,3 billion US dollars, which amounted to 10.8 % of the total volume of exports of the republic and increased by 14.6% compared to the corresponding period of last year.
And also since the beginning of the year 455 types of textile products have been exported to 60 countries of the world.
