According to the National Statistics Committee, as of January 1, 2025, the total number of bee colonies across all categories of farms in the republic reached 742.5 thousand.
Their distribution by farm type is as follows:
on farms - 113.2 thousand;
on dehkan and household plots - 502.3 thousand;
in organizations engaged in agricultural activities - 127 thousand.
