According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-June 2025, a total of 9.5 thousand foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for educational purposes.
This indicator increased by 1.4 thousand people or 17.3% compared to the corresponding period last year.
In January-June of this year, foreign citizens who arrived in Uzbekistan for study in the following countries:
India - 2,780 people;
Turkmenistan - 2,622 people;
Tajikistan - 1,145 people;
China - 459 people;
South Korea - 381 people;
Pakistan - 348 people;
Kyrgyz Republic - 263 people;
USA - 232 people;
Afghanistan - 167 people;
Turkey - 161 people;
Other countries - 988 people.
