According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 783.7 thousand foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January-June 2025.
This figure increased by 255.1 thousand people or 48.3% compared to the corresponding period last year.
The number of foreign citizens who came to Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in the first 6 months of this year by country is as follows:
Russia - 166.6 thousand people;
Turkmenistan - 123.0 thousand people;
Kazakhstan - 77.7 thousand people;
Kyrgyz Republic - 71.6 thousand people;
Tajikistan - 49.1 thousand people;
China - 39.1 thousand people;
Turkey - 29.3 thousand people;
India - 22.0 thousand people;
Italy - 18.6 thousand people;
South Korea - 14.9 thousand people;
Germany - 14.7 thousand people;
USA - 13.2 thousand people;
Other countries - 143.9 thousand people.
