According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-June 2025, approximately 5.3 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.
This figure increased by 1.7 million people or 48.9% compared to the corresponding period last year.
Foreign citizens who arrived in Uzbekistan in January-June of this year were categorized by purpose of travel as follows:
visiting relatives - 3,596,799 people
travel - 783,696 people
official - 594,023 people
commercial - 223,581 people
treatment - 48,557 people
study - 9,546 people
