According to the National Statistics Committee, as of July 1, 2025, the permanent population of the Republic of Uzbekistan was 37.9 million people.
The composition of the permanent population by age groups is as follows:
below working age - 12.2 million people (32.2%);
working age - 21.2 million people (56%);
above working age - 4.5 million people (11.8%).
