According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 10.7 thousand foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for educational purposes in January-July 2025.
This figure increased by 2 thousand people or 22.4% compared to the corresponding period last year.
In the first 7 months of this year, foreign citizens who came to Uzbekistan for study purposes were from the following countries:
Turkmenistan - 3,197 people;
India - 2,846 people;
Tajikistan - 1,246 people;
China - 532 people;
South Korea - 428 people;
Pakistan - 377 people;
Kyrgyz Republic - 286 people;
USA - 254 people;
Afghanistan - 193 people;
Turkey - 181 people;
Other countries - 1,161 people.
